Seedling #V95-224-3 = [(Snook x Small Talk) x Glenbrook Mini-Cycla] , S. J. Vinisky, USA, Season 1-2
A strong grower and a rambunctious increaser here. Has a gentle reflex to the perianth which is most noticed from the middle of the petals to the tips of the petals. Nicely consistent and shows an above average number of well formed, show flowers. Has been very fertile here and I've found it a good parent for both seed and pollen. A crisp, clear yellow that holds its color throughout the long bloom life.

Seedling # V93-65-1 = Hartlebury x Dr. Hugh, S. J. Vinisky, USA, Season 4
When both of the above bulbs were new and very expensive, it seemed a no brainer to cross the superb Clive Postles 3W-R (Hartlebury) with the fabulous Brian Duncan 3W-R (Doctor Hugh). I made the above cross for four years running. Strangely enough and even with a large number of seedlings to look at, it was surprising to find that very, very few of the resulting seedlings were better than both parents. Many were not as good as either parent! This is the "pick of the litter". It scores highly for whiteness of the well overlapped, satiny smooth perianth segments as well as the intensity of the deeply colored, highly saturated orange/red corona. It throws a good percentage of show worthy blooms.

Sdlg #V91-17-7 = (Goldfinger x D1195), S. J. Vinisky, USA, 2010, 2-3
Clean and precise yellow trumpet with close to ideal pose. Strong, healthy grower with vigorous increase. Polished perianth segments are wide, smooth and rarely catch or nick. The trumpet has a smaller base than many of this style, is straight sided and flares gently at the mouth. A golden yellow trumpet with elegance and style. Has been in many winning exhibits and has won the Rose Ribbon twice here in Oregon.
